The Night Lights
The music and overall lack of light makes the film very relaxing, giving off an overall ambient feel to it. The light lines during the film at 0:42 seconds creates the impression that the 'person' on the left is much more closed off in comparison to the one on the right-this is shown by the character on the left being much darker and also sitting back whilst the character on the right is brighter and sat forwards, leaning on the table. The use of the lines at 0:44 seconds are used to create a time lap' of cars rushing past-giving the impression that although it is dark out, it is very busy. The lights used to create a trio of characters sitting together creates the impression of a busy yet empty environment as none of the characters have facial expressions or features. I like the simplicity.
Don't feed the ducks
I like the comedy side of the film, its funny yet interesting. The sign 'don't feed the ducks' reflects how humans tend to do the opposite of what an instruction requests of them. The lack of expression from the characters suggests that they have no personality which adds to the humor of the piece. The sound effects are very entertaining as it gives a ridiculous tone to the video, making it entertaining to watch. I enjoyed watching this video as it made me laugh and was fun to watch.
Coping by Vivian ForsansAlthough the video was strange and took a different approach on coping, it suggested that one does not cope, we distract ourselves from the truth by hurting ourselves until we do not get the help we need and we hurt ourselves. The video is strangely entertaining whilst also being uncomfortable to watch. The lack of vocals and inhuman looking characters suggest that it is not healthy to behave in that way and one should not try to. The video does have a darker tone to it, suggesting
